In the event that the Great Lakes Gift Show is canceled, delayed, rescheduled, or otherwise materially affected due to circumstances beyond the control of the show organizers—including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, disease outbreak, government-mandated shutdowns, war, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, labor strikes, utility failures, or any other acts of God or unforeseeable events—Great Lakes Promotions, LLC, including its members, managers, employees, officers, staff, agents, and representatives (collectively, “Organizers”), shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, or failure in performance.
In such circumstances, the Organizers will make reasonable efforts, in their sole discretion, to equitably refund a portion of booth reservation fees paid by exhibitors, after accounting for non-recoverable costs and expenses already incurred. However, exhibitors acknowledge and agree that the Organizers are under no obligation to issue any refund and will not be liable for any consequential damages, lost profits, travel or lodging costs, or any other form of compensation or claim arising from such force majeure events.
If the Show is rescheduled due to a force majeure event, exhibitors will have the option to retain their same booth location at the rescheduled Show at no additional cost. The Organizers will make reasonable efforts to preserve original booth assignments and accommodate exhibitors accordingly.
